Nutritionist– According to MNT, the researchers surmised that the smell and taste of food shortens the lifespan of said sensory neurons producing insulin. The body reacts to the foods you eat in many of different ways. The National Institute on Aging explained that the amount you eat also has an affect on your body.

Yoga/Meditation– Mindfulness meditation can reduce suffering from physical ailments that may increase at midlife. It’s also been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and depression. These conditions can reduce your mental and physical well-being at any age, but they affect people at higher rates during midlife.

Arts based therapy(optional)- Art therapy is used to improve cognitive and sensorimotor functions, foster self-esteem and self-awareness, cultivate emotional resilience, promote insight, enhance social skills, reduce and resolve conflicts and distress, and advance societal and ecological change

Counseling– Counselling will involve learning and tackling new skills by enticing a new perspective. You will be able to let go of the midlife crisis anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and so on. Once you get a better understanding of what was affecting you, you are open to therapies and getting better.
